Recently I received some goodies in the mail from my girl Nakena at NKR makeup! Nakena launched her makeup line in 2015 with the motto of “live life in color”. Nakena recently opened up NKR beauty bar in her hometown of Water Valley, MS . This line does not disappoint and it’s giving me life for sure!

I received a lipstick in the color of Russian, a liquid matte in Atomic, and a blush in Tropicana.

Russian is a beautiful red and perfect for any occasion. While in San Diego I wore Russian with a casual denim outfit and Russian served as my accent. This color surely served!!! The lipstick was creamy and long lasting. I was out all day at the winery and no touchup was needed. It was as pretty in the afternoon as it was in the morning.I wore the Tropicana blush and it was full of pigment and life. A little goes a long way!

Atomic! Is just as it sounds…it was the BOMB! This pop of color paired well with my blue dress. This glided on smooth and easy with a beautiful matte finish. This color is great for day to night looks.
